Zamboanga Restaurant

Zamboanga Restaurant is located in Adriatico, Manila and offers seafood and native dishes and cultural performances nightly. If you would also check their website, they also offer competive wedding, baptismal and birthday packages. Theirs even start cheaper than what Ibarra's offers.

For an authentic Zamboangan dining experience, make sure you sample their crab delicacies, especially the Curacha (cockroach-looking crab).

Constantine Place

If you're looking for a venue with a pool, whether for a kiddie birthday party or an adult one, or a barkada outing even, this is a great place for it.

It's located inside BF Resort Village in Las Piñas (maybe you can ask the tricycle drivers for directions since I didn't get the exact address). Feel free to call Aling Nida at 871-84-89. The place could be rented between 9 AM-3 PM or 4 PM-10 PM for only P4,000. The rent includes use of tables and chairs, and a grill and the videoke machine. They also have the adjacent empty lot for parking.

They prefer smaller crowds (around 50) since they really don't want too much noise to bother the neighbors in the village.

Rockpoint Hotel and Spa, San Pablo, Laguna

I once raved about Rockpoint Hotel and Conference Center in Pansol, with its attentive staff, hot springs pool, cheap conference packages, wonderful food and tubs in every room (except the dorm-type ones).

So I really cannot help but wonder what it's like at the Rockpoint Hotel and Spa in San Pablo, Laguna. Their multiply site has their rates and contact info and map (offering barkada/family packages now too).

If you want to check out their facilities but don't really want to drive all the way to San Pablo, then maybe a video of their hotel will interest you.

Rockpoint Pansol also has a video you can check out, since it's nearer.

Some hotels and resorts charge a ransom. Rockpoint does not. So going there doesn't have to be this grandly planned affair. Both Rockpoints are relatively near so family gatherings, barkada gimiks, office outings or even birthdays can easily be celebrated here.
